巴西監獄埃爾卡庫斯(Alcacuz)於14日發生暴動，當時至少30人死亡，也傳出3名囚犯遭到斬首的駭人事件。近日流出一段令人更不安的影片，一群囚犯們圍在火堆邊烤肉，還稱他們正在燒烤敵對幫派成員的屍體。

當地軍事警察於21日時，已經恢復發生暴動的納塔爾市(Natal)內監獄的秩序，並試著在關押兩方人馬監獄中升級原本的混凝土圍牆，改埋入金屬好隔離雙方，希望能減少監獄內的混亂和暴動。
這起發生在埃爾卡庫斯的暴力事件死傷無數，21日當地醫學檢察官辦公室的調查人員發現了一些身體殘肢，包含一個完整的頭骨，還有其他兩個頭骨的一部分殘骸，目前正在確定死者身份。
